Miscellaneous Ramblings

Stuff I can't squeeze anywhere else so I pile it here

OK, first in the vault of crazy and insane ramblings is a not so crazy poem by my good friend (and adopted little sister) Mariam Younes.  This is going to go in the book somewhere, but I can't say where just yet ^_^v

I'm awake now; I've had a strange dream.
You won't believe the things I've seen.

An angel donning golden wings,
Who picked me up and held me tight.
Who loved the wretch I was and am,
And stayed with me all through the night.

Who held me while I was covered with dirt,
With filthy hands and scraped knees.
Who kissed the hand so covered in scars,
The flesh I am locked in that eternally bleeds.

Who kissed me and the pain had healed.
Who touched me and my hands were cleansed.
Who touched me and my scars were sealed,
And personal conflicts had made amends.

Who left me at the break of dawn,
Who'd seen what I refused to see.
But alas, had left me all alone.
I wonder, where could the seraph be?
