PROGRESS:
6/25/03: I started on the background information concerning the world of Seraph, Gaeana. I also started a map (OK, so it's just some squares put together like continents: I'm not a cartographer!).
6/26/03: Hired concept artist Nathan Palmer, artist of w00t w00t 4 College!, to do the early sketches for the book.
6/27/03: Finished part one of the prewriting stage by finishing my documents on the races, nations, and rulers of Gaiana, and I also included a brief history of the Great War. All of these included in "The World of Gaiana"
7/5/03: Finally able to return to work! I've had family visiting from California for the past week, and I haven't been able to get a damned thing done! Anyway, prewriting's over (at least for the first five chapters) and now Chapter One-The Rough Draft is complete! Now the fun begins: editing and revising!
Expect an excerpt from Chapter one by the end of next week.
7/6/03: Chapter one made it through the first editing stage, and I decided to post a little piece of it for all you nice folks to read. Once again, I say there's still a good chunk of editing that I need to do, so it's not perfect yet by any means!
7/10/03: Whew! I finished the FIFTH revision of chapter one today.
Maybe I can finally start working on chapter two.
7/31/03: Chapter 2 is finished, preparing for revision #2, and I've put up a little piece on the site for ya to read!
8/10/03: Well, I've made a decision to add to my projects and begin sending some of my poetry to some publishers. There's a new page on the site for it!
9.19.03: Well, I've gone back to the drawing board. I'm tinkering with the first three chapters once more (adjusting the storyline...it started to run away from me). So Seraph is not really on a hiatus, but the writing is. It's back to brainstorming for everyone's favorite l33t m4st3r, T3H b0B.
